Nothing's more frustrating than a flight delay once you've already boarded your plane. The perfect remedy? A cheery barbershop quartet providing some in-flight entertainment while you wait.

That's exactly what happened to the lucky passengers aboard a recent US Airways flight. According to WTHR Indianapolis, the plane was set to fly from Indianapolis to New Orleans, but was delayed due to maintenance.

Enter barbershop quartet Port City Sound, who serenaded the entire plane with their rendition of "Under the Boardwalk."

US Airways flight attendant Kari Mann captured the whole thing on video, and uploaded it to her YouTube page.

"I started talking to the passengers and realized we had a barbershop quartet in our presence," Mann wrote on her YouTube page. "I asked them to sing and most of the passengers began video taping!"

The Maine-based quartet sang a few songs, helping make the wait more bearable.

"It was such a great moment. The mood changed and our passengers were awesome for the whole five hours they were on the plane!" Mann wrote. "One of my favorite moments! Thank you to Port City Sound for creating a wonderful memory!"
