One of our favorite “Friends” is now People magazine’s “Most Beautiful Woman” of 2016.

Jennifer Aniston, 47, graces the cover of the publication’s annual issue, looking as lovely as ever. TODAY revealed the news exclusively in the Orange Room Wednesday morning.

Inside she reveals what makes her feel most beautiful: working out.

“Because I’ve taken care of my body, my endorphins are going, my blood is pumping,” Aniston, who also earned People's title in 2004, said. “I’m taking care of the one body I have.”

Aniston attributes her famously toned body to spin-yoga classes three times a week. Generally, she tries to spend about an hour every day working out, but that's getting tough as she juggles movie promotions — like for her upcoming flick, "Mother's Day" — with her spokeswoman duties for Aveeno, Living Proof and smartwater.

Still, she said she makes sure to fit in down time with her actor and screenwriter husband of one year, Justin Theroux, the person she said brings her the most joy.

“He’s just the sweetest and the nicest human. He’s a really kind guy, which is huge,” she said. “He’s the easiest person. I have great conversations with him. He makes me laugh — he’s so interesting and so interested.”

Although Aniston exudes a sense of serenity and confidence these days, she admits it took her years to accept her body, particularly the one spot she considers trouble.

“Well, I’ve never loved my butt. It’s sort of a thing. I had a bubble butt and was teased. Now people are paying money to get things injected. Like, we’re sitting here dying over squats and I’m like, ‘Wait, what the trend?!?’” she said. “I think just my body in general. I used to be such a little round thing. Now I’m just, like, my body is my body, so I’ve embraced things overall.”

Also known for her luscious locks, Aniston said she would love to see herself in a really short style.

"I would like to try a pixie cut,” she said, but then admitting that it will never happen.

“Never. I’m a long-hair girl. I like my hair," she said. "It’s like a security blanket."

“Oh yes, I’ve got a healthy bag of vitamins I take three times a day, like Viviscal and your basic omegas and vitamin C. Good stuff," she said.

But the key to beauty, Aniston insisted, for her or anyone, is what's inside.

"Inner confidence. Peace. Kindness. Honesty. A life well-lived," she said. "Taking on challenges and not feeling shame for things that haven’t gone the way you felt they should have. And not feeling like a failure or allowing people to critique your life and make you feel like you’ve failed at something. That’s just toxic noise.”

Others in the running for the “Most Beautiful” title this year included Kate Hudson, Jennifer Garner, Helen Mirren, Sofia Vergara, Mindy Kaling, Melissa McCarthy and Kerry Washington.

Recent recipients of the "Most Beautiful Woman" title include Sandra Bullock, who graced the magazine's cover last year, and Lupita Nyong'o and Jennifer Lopez. Others include Michelle Pfeiffer, Cindy Crawford, Julia Roberts and Angelina Jolie.

This year's issue hits newsstands Friday.
